Making Progress

When do you know when you are making progress? Is it when you have accomplished a task and you reflect on the subject at hand or is it when you are completely exhausted from pursuing your goal? The answer to these questions are subjective and should be viewed as just that, opinions. Progress is continuous and spontaneous. It is also not manufactured. In other words, everyone is making progress. Unidirectional and multifaceted are all the same. If one wants to produce meaning progress, it requires some form of objective and planning in order to reach there. One need luck and motivation; skill and determination; the power of will. Let's face it, and I quote, "If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much." - Jim Rohn.

When it is Just Not Enough

Thought going to school is enough, getting good grades is enough, or being on schedule is enough? Guess again? It's not enough! There's just so much to do and so little time. Yeah, it's true. There's hardly time to catch a breath. Most people would suggest spending one's time productively. In my opinion, it should be spent relaxing. When there's a minute, go ahead and take a break. If there's a weekend, take a day off. Don't over work yourself because, otherwise, you would not be able to differentiate when you're working or when you're not. However, with that said we need to realize that relaxing allow us to advance our work to the next level. If you're struggling to finish your paper or finding it hard to go to your last class of the day, do it! Because it's all worth it and nothing feels better than relaxing after you are done with a day's work.

Finals! WTF!!

Like many college students, I'm studying for finals this weekend. I can tell you like what most people would about finals and that is it's a bitch. Yes, it's a big fat ugly bitch waiting to bite you in the ass. Think about this. You've studied year round, read every chapter, and done every assignment, but one final exam is worth half if not more of your grade. This is how college is like. You have to study your ass off everyday for one stupid exam, while some people procrastinate and study for the last week of the quarter and get a passing grade. To make things worst some people don't even have to study and still get A's in their classes. I'm not sure how much of that is true, but I'm sure there are people like that out there. My final words for this post are life sucks and school sucks. Deal with it because that's just how life is. Good luck to all and have a good finals week.

When it's close to the holiday season...

So like everyone else, this holiday season I too try to buy holiday presents for everyone. One of the few ways that I get the money, presents, or prizes is raffles. This year I discovered bensbargain's black Friday giveaway. I am currently exploring for more ways to get hands on on this deal, so once I get a prize I'll announce it on this blog.
